Evelyn Peralta was there in 2001 when we trying to move back to Jacksonville from Chicago. She let me stay at her apartment so I could find one for us to move in to. Again that same year, she was there during Desi’s birth at the hospital making sure Kesi got the first glimpse of her new sister in the nursery. I can’t think of any of the girls’ birthdays over the last 13 years where one of the first gifts to arrive wasn’t from Evelyn. Oh yeah most of that time she was living abroad in Italy now Japan the gifts still arrived on time! She originally suggested bringing the girls on this trip something I was against initially given the cost (of course).
So now that this veil has been removed the only thing left to say is thank you, thank you Evelyn for then, now and the future. I greatly appreciate your presence in our lives.
